The SSL certificates for our domains will expire soon. These certificates are used to encrypt your data when it is sent over https to our servers.
The new certificates will be activated on Tuesday May 26th, at 8.30h CEST.

Do you need to do anything before the activation?
You might. Some customers will need to take action before this date in order to avoid running into issues.
Are you using an enterprise application from WICS, Reflecta (XLenz) or Unit4? In that case we advise you to get in contact with them to check what changes are required exactly.
In all other cases we recommend that you share this information with your systems administrator. He/she can then assess the necessity for a change on your side.

The international Certificate Authority / Browser Forum decided in 2025 that SSL certificates will have shorter validity periods, with eventually only 47 days validity in 2029.

nShift is keen on adopting the recommendations regarding automatic certificate renewal and will therefor no longer issue announcements for SSL certificate renewals.
Companies should ensure the root and intermediate certificate authorities in their trust stores are up to date, and consequently be able to trust all certificates issued by any of those CAs.
